Reviewer: Lonnie Lofton I loved the cd. I am a fan of Nellie's music. The entire cd is enjoyable. 4 out of 5 stars Soulful Reviewer: Chas A strong soulful voice, dripping with honey and emotion. Great songs with great hooks. I like a singer that can make you feel a song, and in Superwoman you know this woman is bone tired and just hanging on. This southen soul music is a balm to keep me going in this cold Canadian winter. I will be getting the word out about Ms. Travis.
5 out of 5 stars Good Swing Out Music Reviewer: Erica (click for website) Nellie Tiger Travis sings for us (women). She sings from the soul. This music is good to dance to (Swing Out is what we call it in South Louisiana.) Can't wait until she comes this way for a concert. "The Girl Is Bad" Reviewer: The Greyghoster This is a very good CD, my kinda music, especially for the "Southern Soul" type party crowd, I mean the "Grown Folks Music" lovers, This girl & this CD is very, very tough............ | |||||||||||||||||

5 out of 5 stars Great Spritial and Honest Voice

I am still hearing this soulful voice after listening to the CD after about four times all in one day. My favorite song is "I Got It Like That" that's a strong song and strong lyrics. She sings it with such authority as if she knows she's got it. Her voice is one of a kind, and has such an honest feeling. It's such a hot track. One Man's Woman says a lot also. I can relate to that song from personal experiences. The whole CD is just too hot. I will forever be a true fan. I will follow her music wherever it goes. Just from listening to her tracks and if it is not said enough, she is the best. I say to you MS. Tiger keep on keeping on, you will be at the top soon, if not already.

5 out of 5 stars Singing Star "Tiger" Rising in the Midwest
Reviewer: A music fan
This blues vocalist brought everything to the table but the shouting or should I say "hollering!" I can't wait for the follow-up to this production. The CD has the element that glues Rhythm & Blues to the Blues with a refreshing air breathing new life into an old music genre'. Good music to listen, dance, cry, and reflect. Along with Grammy nominee, Billy Branch on harmonica, on a swing shuffle, Dime & A Quarter, as well as the perennial favorite slow-blues titled "It's Over", this CD holds its own! This vocalist sounds like, Koko Taylor, Aretha Franklin, and Gladys Knight, with the power of her name, "The Tiger"!
